What is a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)?

Urinary Tract Infection: When bacteria enter the urethra and infect the urinary tract, they commonly originate from the skin or rectum and are known as UTIs. Several areas of the urinary tract can be affected by the diseases, but a bladder infection is the most prevalent kind (cystitis). Pyelonephritis, another form of UTI, is a kidney infection. In contrast to bladder infections, they are less frequent but more severe. Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infection: A bladder infection may cause the following symptoms: Urination that causes pain or burning. Often urinating. Despite having an empty bladder, having the urge to urinate. Bloody urine. The lower abdomen or groin may be under pressure or cramp. Risk Factors of Urinary Tract Infection: Some people are more likely to develop a UTI. Due to their shorter and proximity to the rectum, females are more likely to develop UTIs.
